Trent Edwards: Jacksonville Jaguars Claim Former Buffalo Bills QB Off Waivers

According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, the Jacksonville Jaguars have claimed former Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards off waivers.  Earlier this week, the Bills released Edwards after starting the season as their No. one quarterback.
In one week, the Jaguars have added three quarterbacks to the roster: Edwards and Todd Bouman, and Keith Null to the practice squad.
Do you think David Garrard is on high alert?  He should be.
Garrard started the season with a victory over the Denver Broncos at home, and then lost two straight with horrible performances at San Diego and back home this past weekend in Everbank Field.
For the season, Garrard is averaging 6.05 yards per game, and has thrown four touchdowns and five interceptions.  His quarterback rating is 66.7.
Edwards, on the other hand, had a worse quarterback rating (58.3) when he was cut by the Bills, and had thrown 29 of 52 for 241 yards for one touchdown and two interceptions.
