Trent Richardson Injury: Updates on Ravens RB’s Knee and Recovery

Running back Trent Richardson's attempt to resurrect his NFL career may have hit a snag Thursday, as he received news he may need arthroscopic knee surgery.

Richardson To Miss "Some Time" Thursday, June 16 The Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec noted Richardson had a "pre-existing issue" and that surgery is "likely." 
After sitting out the entire 2015 season after getting released by the Oakland Raiders prior to the campaign and going unsigned, Richardson inked a deal with the Baltimore Ravens this offseason.
The former Alabama standout joined an already crowded backfield but received an opportunity in part because of the promise he showed earlier in his career.
He entered the league in 2012 with the Cleveland Browns as the No. 3 overall selection in the NFL draft. After rushing for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns as a rookie, Richardson was traded to the Indianapolis Colts two games into his second season.
