Tyrann Mathieu Demonstrates the Danger of Leaving a Dog in a Hot Car

Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu teamed up with PETA to star in a public service announcement on the potential consequences of leaving a dog inside a hot car.
To demonstrate the danger, the Honey Badger sat inside a car in 90-degree weather.
"I seriously couldn't imagine leaving my dog in the car like this," he said while still inside.
Mathieu tapped out after eight minutes, when the car reached a scorching 120 degrees.
By the time he stumbled out, his T-shirt was drenched in sweat—which, as the PSA reminds us, is something a dog cannot do to cool itself off.
"If you're going to make a dog a part of your family, then make him a part of your family," Mathieu said. "Don't treat him like you wouldn't treat someone you cared about or someone you loved."
