Vikings Vs. Eagles Tuesday Night Football: Brett Favre Out, Joe Webb to Start

December 28, 2010   ·     ·   Jump to comments

The Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles will play the first Tuesday Night Football game in over 60 years, and quarterback Brett Favre won't even play.
According to multiple reports, Brett Favre will miss tonight's game after sustaining a concussion the week before in a loss to the Chicago Bears.
Favre, who saw his 297 consecutive game streak snapped in Week 14, decided to play last week against the rival Bears.
However, Favre sustained a concussion early in the game and did not return.
Rookie quarterback Joe Webb, who was converted from receiver to quarterback by the Vikings, will make his first career start.
The roller coaster season continues for the Vikings, who have endured more bad luck than any other team in football.
Lucky for them, after tonight it will only be one more week before the disastrous season comes to a close.
