Vikings Vs. Eagles: Was This A Classic 'Trap' Game?

The Eagles are headed to the postseason and had something to play for. The Vikings were playing for pride.

In the end, pride won out and the Vikings beat the Eagles on both sides of the ball, moving their offense more effectively and beating Michael Vick up all night.

The Eagles may not have been as mentally prepared for the game as they thought they were, and it also appears two extra days in a hotel room just made the Vikings angry.

The injury to Vick on the first play of the game didn't help, obviously, but the Eagles failed to adjust on both sides of the ball. It wasn't as easy as just putting Kevin Kolb in or Head Coach Andy Reid would've done that. While Vick was injured, he obviously still was mobile enough to get the job done.
