Vikings Vs. Jets Monday Night Football: And That’s Why You Trade for Randy Moss

Brett Favre threw a perfect 37-yard rainbow touchdown down the right sideline to Randy Moss that cut the Jets lead to 12-7. With one pass, the complexion of the game - possibly the season - changed. That's why you trade for Randy Moss. It was Favre's 500th career touchdown pass.
Immediately following that though, Brad Smith returned the kick 86 yards to the Minnesota 19. The Vikings defense has played great in the red zone while holding the Jets to four field goals and they continued that trend with another red zone stop. A 31-yard field goal by Nick Folk has the Jets up 15-7 with 49 seconds to go in the fourth quarter.
With the Moss pass though, the Jets have to be worried, and seams and lanes will begin to open up for the other Minnesota players, like Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin.
