Vincent Jackson Contract: Latest Comments, Rumors Surrounding Buccaneers WR

Vincent Jackson will be entering the fourth year of a five-year contract he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012. His salary-cap number makes him a prime candidate to renegotiate if the team sees fit.

Pro Football Talk: Bucs Haven't Discussed Pay Cut Friday, Feb. 27 According to Pro Football Talk, the Buccaneers have not asked Jackson to take a pay cut as of right now:
This report comes on the heels of CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora's reporting that Jackson wouldn't be amenable to taking a reduced salary for next season.
"Jackson will not agree to a pay cut, sources said, and the Bucs have plenty of cap space and need all the assets they can get, especially with it looking more and more like a done deal that they draft quarterback Jameis Winston first overall," La Canfora wrote.
