Washington Redskins: Tom Brady Contract Near, Time To Talk To Donovan McNabb

Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald is reporting that the New England Patriots and Tom Brady are very close on a three year $58 million contract extension.
If this pans out to be true than talks between the Washington Redskins and newly acquired quarterback Donovan McNabb could begin to heat up.
Though it has never been said by the team or McNabb it has been rumored that the Redskins were waiting for a deal to get done with either Brady or Peyton Manning before offering up a contract to their quarterback.
What everyone was guessing at was that for a change the Skins wanted to see what to going market for Pro Bowl quarterbacks were instead of setting that market.
Now that it looks like Brady is getting ready to sign we can expect to see reports of the Redskins talking with McNabb's people about extending his contract beyond this season.
Obviously we can expect the Redskins' offer to be less than that, but at least they have a jumping off point and hopefully can ge...
