Week 9 NFL Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Advice: Get ’em or Don’t Sweat ’em

There were some unusual heroes on Sunday. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.
This is a special Halloween edition. Instead of the usual Get ‘em or Don’t Sweat ‘em rulings, it will be trick (don’t sweat) or treat (get).


Quarterbacks

David Garrard, Jacksonville Jaguars
Garrard may have been dropped after his 49 yard game and injury. He came back with a monster effort (4 TDs passing, 1 rushing) vs. a lifeless Cowboys team. He completed 17 of his 21 passes for 260 yards.
Ruling:  Treat 


Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions
Stafford is back, throwing for 4 TDs. How long will he stay healthy? Hard to say, but until he gets hurt again, he should probably be on a squad.
Ruling:  Treat


Troy Smith, San Francisco 49ers
He threw for a TD and ran for another one, but he had just 196 yards passing and 2 yards rushing. He may improve the Niner...
