What Is Brett Favre’s Legacy Now That He’s ALLEGEDLY Calling It Quits?

If I were a Minnesota Viking fan, I would be irate this morning at being strung along in such a way, where they missed the chance to bring in a nice rookie quarterback (Colt McCoy maybe?) because they were under the impression Brett Favre would be back.
I'll give you a football analogy: Favre is like Lucy from the old Peanuts cartoons, pulling the ball away from Charlie (the Vikings) at the last second before kickoff.
Is it for real? No one can really say at this point, although it certainly is a new take on Favre's increasingly diva-like antics. If I were making odds, I'd say it's about 70/30 he's retired for good, because he got beat down in his last NFL game and maybe his body has finally quit on him.
Green Bay instantly becomes the team to beat in the NFC North, because defensive coordinators don't fear Tarvaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels in the slightest. You think any team's secondary is going to dedicate even a bit of extra film study to those guys? They'...
