When Will the NFL Smarten Up and Bring the Super Bowl Back To So. California?

As chunks of ice fall off the roof at the site of Super Bowl XLV in Dallas, it was a balmy 70 degrees here in Los Angeles.
While airports were closed and fans who paid huge sums for hotel rooms are wondering if they'll even get to Big D, sighting the NFL's biggest game in southern California would have have meant a "radio row" basking in the sun in shorts and drinks poolside!
For the Super Bowl is more than a game, but an event that has huge economic consequences on the host city as well as the numerous industries it impacts as the ultimate travel destination for the football fanatic.
For the NFL to treat this "golden goose" with such disrespect by placing the contest in places like Jacksonville, and now Dallas where the elements are impacting the event's ability to shine, will commissioner Roger Goodell finally get it and put this game back in a venue like southern California where the event truly belongs?
