Will Peyton Manning Really Pass Brett Favre’s Records?

Peyton Manning is quite possibly the best quarterback to have ever played the game. Nobody can read defenses like he can. Nobody can make the play calling like he can. The guy is a sheer genius.
Peyton Manning is well on course to surpass all of Brett Favre's records, with the exception of interceptions. He has already broken the MVP record with four of them, and is likely to get more.
Though Peyton Manning has some qualities in him that virtually no other quarterback has ever had, that doesn't automatically mean that he will surpass the records.
Brett Favre has had one of the strongest arms ever. I remember John Madden talking about the ball going faster than the camera could keep up with. When he joined the Vikings, there was concern as to whether he would be able to throw like he used to considering the fact that he was about to turn 40.
