Xavier Rhodes Injury: Updates on Vikings CB’s Hamstring and Return

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes is one of the top up-and-coming defensive backs in the NFL, but the team may be without the fourth-year man after he suffered a hamstring injury against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.

Rhodes is preparing for his third season as a full-time starter after starting all 16 games for the Vikings in both 2014 and 2015, and Minnesota expects him to take another step forward this season.
The 26-year-old made some strides last season with one interception and a career-high 58 tackles on the heels of a successful 2014 campaign.
After starting six games as a rookie in 2013, the former Florida State standout took over as a starter in 2014. He racked up 48 tackles and nabbed his first career interception, but perhaps most impressively, he finished the year with 18 passes defended.
